Where are stored the SDE connection files?

Hi all I would like to store in my C drive a SDE connection file and call it in a python scrip. For example MyConnection = "C:\\.sde" How can I do that? thanks

SDE Conenction files for ArcGIS 9.3.1 are stored on the server and in my workstation at this location:

C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\ESRI\ArcCatalog

SDE connection files are stored by default in your application data profile directory.

10.0os.path.join(os.getenv("APPDATA"), r"ESRI\Desktop10.0\ArcCatalog")

You can copy these to whatever directory you would like.
