Local Server raster support?

Hi,

I am looking for support to load a localy stored raster image (Geotiff or ECW) in a windows Desktop based ArcGIS Runtime for .NET application

But am missing a som information:

How do I implementet / find a reference in the API guide?
Can you provide sample code / an example? like this one for JAVA: Add raster data—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java | ArcGIS for Developers

In addition to this what are the Raster support plans for the QUARTZ release?
