URL of shared ArcGIS Online Map Changes Every Time I Update Feature Layers in Map

I have a user at that is attempting to share a map link via a website, but every time she updates the feature layer inside the shared map and saves it, the URL changes. Is there a way to keep the same URL, without making it an embedded Application?
