Pop-up window click through question

still new to AGOL, so please bear with me.  i have made a web map containing a layer that has overlapping polygons.  after you configure the pop-up and click on a given polygon, the pop-up window appears with something like: "(1 of 4)" in the header, where you then click through using the arrow next to it to see the results.

i was wondering if there is a way to sort on the scroll through?  as you click the arrow, i want the results to reflect an order by a date field. is this possible?  thanks for your help.

I am not positive but I would imagine that this would require developing a custom application in order to do this. The out-of-the-box mentality of the pop-up boxes kind of has a mind of its own (as you have probably noticed). Having something more customized based on a particular attribute would require digging into the coding of this and making a custom application.
