Display segment distance while drawing. (Cont.)

Has anybody (successfully) added code to the sample flex viewer to display the segment lengths of lines,polygons, while they are being drawn. There was some code on the older forums, but if anybody has completed this using Roberts Custom draw widget it would be appreciated. I have some of it in place, but I am looking for the section on sending the lengths through a geometry service. As always help is greatly appreciated.
