I use the print widget and depending layers on the map, printing a map takes between 45 sec - 1min30. My users find it very slow. I wonder if there are parameters to reduce processing time.
I use pdf in 96 dpi.

Unfortunately with no graphics on the map and disabling antivirus on the server, the processing time is always the same.

Each graphic in the map has to be converted to json and sent in the webmap json to the print service. So graphics and layer that are added at runtime can cause a slow print. I have also run into a case where the AntiVirus on the ArcGIS Server where the print service is running caused a significant delay.
