Default value is invalid within the domain

Question

When I run the 'feature class to feature class' tool located in arc toolbox under Conversion Tools->to geodatabase, I get this error message for the feature class:

Default value is invalid within the domain. [Name = SupportStructure, Subtype code = 6, Field = CLASS, Default value = NA]

What's strange is that the Deafult value of 'NA' is in the domain that is assigned to the field 'CLASS' for subtype code = 6.  The error message seems incorrect.  I can copy all the other feature classes in the dataset.  This is the only one with a problem.

Is there any way to find out more about what could be the cause of this error message?

Are you saying that 'NA' is one of the listed values inside the domain?  Is it also set as the default value for that field?
