using XAP built using Silverllight SDK 3.2 in 3.0.1 version of Map Web Part

Hi

i'm using the latest version of the ESRI Silverlight SDK in dev (3.2) and i'm trying to add a XAP built using this into the 3.0.1 version of the Sharepoint map web part. however, when i do i get the following error:Could not load file or assembly ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Extensibility, version=3.2.0.168, or one of its dependencies. the requested assembly version conflicts with what is already bound in the app domain.

i look inside the XAP file and there's no ESRI dlls in there, so where is it getting its incorrect reference from?

assuming it's doing what it's doing and there's nothing i can do about it, does this mean i can't use the 3.2 version of the SDK with sharepoint? if i use the 3.1 version of the SDK will it then work?

i'm also using the Builder and it uses the 3.2 version of everything.

FYI, i've heard there won't be a 3.2 or 3.x SharePoint map part release, there will be a 4.0 release summer/fall 2014

great thanks, any info on if/when a version of maps for sharepoint that works with 3.2 is going to be released?

Hi Anna,

Esri Maps for SharePoint still uses the Silverlight 3.1 SDK; Version 3.2 is not supported.
