Is there a method or interface that can be used in ArcObjects that duplicates the functionality when right-clicking on an ArcGIS Online Group Layer in ArcMap to 'create local copy for editing'?

Need to write some code to automate the editing workflow for data coming from ArcGIS Online. Is there a way to implement 'Create Local Copy for Editing' in ArcObjects?
