We are hosting tiled layers on ArcGIS Online to be used in our web applications. Recently we have noticed that some of the requests occasionally return 404 errors.
There are 6 addresses (that I know of) for the tile servers that can be used to access the tiles: tiles[{1-5}].arcgis.com/... .
Last week we have noticed this on tiles.arcgis.com, today it's tiles5.arcgis.com. Roughly every fifth request returns 404 error.
In the attachemt, there's a screenshot showing how the 404 response looks like.
The problem is similar to:
Feature Service - Error 503: Service Unavailable
but the error code is now 404 and i think it only applies to the tile servers.
