Hi
We've just moved from AGS 10.8 to 11.5 so converting stuff toExpB - a user has commented that he can no longer multi select in a table - like below fro the old page - is this really the case in ExpB? Thanks
ACM
If you're working in the built-in version that comes with Enterprise 11.5, you can definitely select multiple, you just have to manually toggle that option on
https://doc.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/11.5/configure-widgets/table-widget.htm
Is it really preferred that Single would be the default value over Multi-select? I would like to hear opinions on that.
I think you could really make the case either way. It probably depends a lot on what your app is doing. If you use selections to populate things like feature infos and images and the like, it can be cleaner to enforce single selection.
Ah, but only if you don't have "Interact with Map" on - this is what I see.
I only see the Select Mode option if I go deeper
They definitely didn't make that easy huh? I suppose I can see a reason why you'd want to set that on a layer-by-layer basis but you might also suggest an Idea to surface that config option a bit higher to reduce clicks.
it does look like your screen shot in AGOL - so I guess it has been actioned, jur fault we have to stick to 11.5 until it erxpires (loads of reasons) I have found I have to go dowen to layer level anyway, as with the 'Ineract with map' option it populates the table based on the popup config - and one main layer I use has no fields in the popup, just a text box that drops a field value in.
