Experience Builder - Allow users to expand attribute table

Is there a way to build an experience builder app that allows user to open an attribute table and then have the ability to click and drag the size of the table to make it bigger? Just like the function in ArcGIS Pro or even the Editor App in ArcGIS Online.

I've tried a few different methods (sidebar and fixed panel) but they really dont let the user drag the table to make it bigger on screen. Below is a screenshot of what I'm looking for - the handle allows you to resize the table on screen.

Add your table to a widget controller.

Configure it to Floating.

You can set an approximate size for it to open at (I would recommend not making it full width, as this can cause an issue when viewing the app on a smaller device. Let the user expand it themselves)

The position it will open on the page depends on where your widget controller is placed.

If you have more than one widget in the controller, you can set the controller to open a single widget (this avoids overlapping) or multiple.

Then the user can move the window around using the top bar and resize it using the bottom right corner.

They can make it tiny..

or full screen.

Or close it, leaving just the widget controller.

The controller can be configured in size and colour too.

You could use a grid widget, with allows for resizing in the various rows and columns. I personally don't tend to like them too much but it would get you what you're looking for.

The Sidebar has a resizable option. It's not super obvious, but users can drag the Divider line to make the Sidebar larger. The Divider has some style options and you may want to make it more prominent if you expect your users to resize their Table. In the Table Widget, make sure to set the Height to Stretch, Auto or 100%, so the Table also fills the space when it's expanded.

I like how this works really well!

How do you adjust the size that the table opens at when first clicked? I don't see any options on my side where I can adjust that. Theres one setting to change the size of the icon in the widget controller, but not the entire table itself.

This app is in Enterprise 11.3 so maybe the resizing part was introduced after that.

I'm happy that works for you.

You need to be in the table config (or another widget in the widget controller if you add more). Then, in the builder view, your table widget will have white corners you can use to resize it.

Where you move your widget controller on the screen determines where the table (or other widget) will open.

The top-left corner will be close to the button. You can choose whether the user can open only one widget at a time or multiple (they will overlap).

The controller buttons can be resized/spaced/coloured/horizontal/labelled etc)
