Hello, I am creating a Pro map package / template with the intention for other people in my organization to use it, and would like for the data sources portion to remain accurate with as little manual updating needed as possible. I think it would be very helpful to have a tool that could help manage works/data cited.
There could be a few ways to do this - a window where a user could manually input how'd they'd like their data sources to be shown, and tie them with the data layers - this could allow for the option of sources to be added/removed dynamically depending on whether they are/aren't within a map. This could also transition into a more robust capability of the tool helping standardize items, and translate into different citation formats.
When updating data sources, I currently use a text box, and am still having issues with the url automatically turning into a blue hyperlink - there is a workaround, but find this time consuming and tricky, and sometimes has reverted back.
