I've got tricky task that I can use some help with. My organization has a really popular and amazing StoryMap that was made many years ago. Last year some users created a new version of the StoryMap (in a new item) using some of the new StoryMap features (tours, view button, etc.). We'd like the replace the content in the old StoryMap with the content in the new StoryMap (the old StoryMap is hyperlinked in some local news publications and several other places), but we need to leave it's ID and URL the same.
I realize I can set up a redirect link, but I'm looking for a more elegant solution. I tried (on some test storymaps) using ArcGIS Assistant to copy the raw JSON from one item to another and I looked at the ArcGIS API for Python documentation but couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
