When stacking multiple widgets within a dashboard, these are navigated by tabs. Following the rollout of the ArcGIS Online June 2026 release, the appearance of these tabs is now more difficult to navigate as the tabs do not appear as individual buttons compared to previously (please see below images of before and after the update).
Before: A wider gap between each button/tab.

After:

To allow us to better meet WCAG guidance, we would like the appearance of the tabs to be improved to ensure it is clear to users that these are buttons/clickable. This could be the default (as previous) or configuration settings introduced which allow customisation of the appearance of the stacked widget navigation tabs. For example, gaps between tabs, colours of tabs, border width, different states for selected, hover, default (similar to Experience Builder button styling options).
By re-introducing gaps between each navigation tab, users will be able to navigate between the stacked widgets more easily and increase the usability and accessibility of our applications. For reference, we have over 100 dashboards across our platform which are openly available to users.
