I have the following layer structure in ArcGIS Pro:
Main Group
├── FeatureLayer A
├── FeatureLayer B
└── Sub Group
├── FeatureLayer C
└── FeatureLayer D (empty)Zoom To Layer works correctly for all individual feature layers and also for the Sub Group.
However, when I right-click the Main Group and select Zoom To Layer, ArcGIS Pro zooms to a very large/incorrect extent.
If I move the same empty FeatureLayer D directly under the Main Group, the Main Group's Zoom To Layer works correctly.
So the issue occurs specifically for the Main Group when one of its subgroups contains an empty layer.
Is this a known ArcGIS Pro issue? Is there a recommended way to handle this while keeping this subgroup structure?
