Manage Template Question ?

Hello !

I am learning here but I am working on two different Map tabs here....

I have a layer that has 17 feature layer (LEGEND)  in a feature class. I have another map tab that has one feature layer (Shelter)  . This layer is a shelter with 6 tables but the problem it is too big.

My question here is I hope every one in here understands me...  

What I am trying to get the shelter from the 2nd Map lab and get it to the first map tab and add this to the 

feature class that has 17 features as a 18th layer.   Is that possible ?

Or should I go back to the Legend and add this a new feature in the Symbology ?

Never mind. I took care of it but not this manage templates I could not get it to work.  What I did I went back to Styles and then add in the feature Layer in the Map tab.  Create a new feature using it from the style worked.  

 

I will do the manage templates later to get better understand later.
