Map Viewer freezes when zooming

I am having an issue where my map viewer is freezing when I zoom in on my map. This particular map has a lot of data in it so I am used to it being a little slow, but in the past few days it has just been freezing completely. There are no apparent issues with any of the layers. I can open the map and zoom as normal on a phone in Field Maps.

update: The reason my map map was freezing were the labels on a layer and how different settings labels on the layer has caused it.

If you change label setting (option 1) on the layer level via the menu and label settings via right click label properties, it will only change the first label class. So you have to go through all label classes (option 2) to set them equal.

And probably due to an update in AGOL this issue occurs with rendering the labels, more font types, multiple values label scales, position labels with primary offset. 

I have a layer for pipes, every type of pipe has:

• its own symbology
• a label class per type to assign different label style

OPTION 1

• you can set label setting on the layer (option 1)

 

OPTION 2

• label settings per label class (option 2)
