Support GeoParquet Files in the ArcGIS Data Pipelines File Upload Source

ArcGIS Data Pipelines currently supports GeoParquet files when using the File Share source, but the File upload source only accepts standard Parquet files and does not allow GeoParquet files to be uploaded.

It would be great if the File upload source also supported GeoParquet (.parquet) files and automatically recognized the embedded geometry and coordinate reference system (CRS), providing the same experience as the File Share source.

This enhancement would make it easier to build pipelines directly from GeoParquet datasets without first placing them in a shared location or converting them to another format.

Hi @AmrMortada , thanks for the idea! The File input source supports GeoParquet as of the June 2026 Online release. This will also be supported in Enterprise 12.2. Note the format will be "Parquet" since there is only one parquet file type in ArcGIS content, but that parquet file can be either parquet or geoparquet.
