Esri User Conference (UC) offers both in-person and digital attendance again this year, and will be held July 13-17, 2026 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. The Esri Community team will be present at the conference to connect with attendees. Here are the top seven must-know details about how to find us and what we’ll be up to.
1. Booth Location

We’re shaking things up this year by moving from the showcase floor to the ground level hallway of the convention center! Chances are you’ll pass us several times on your way to and from sessions. Just keep an eye out—our booth will be between doors E and F that lead to the street. Among other notable experiences you’ll find very close by are the Esri Store, Demo Theater, and Registration. Our booth hours are:
- Tues 14th, 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Wed 15th, 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Thurs 16th, 8am – 5pm
Make sure to stop by for a visit. We’ll be sharing information about free Esri Community resources, helping set up accounts, and handing out buttons and stickers. We always love the opportunity to check in with our Esri Community members in person!
2. Book Giveaway

In addition to connecting booth visitors with a free digital version of Esri Community’s book Building GIS Together: Stories from the Esri Community Experience, our team will have a limited batch of physical copies on hand. As a gesture of our thanks, the first seven attendees who swing by our booth and let us do a recorded video of them describing how another person in Esri Community has helped them achieve a goal or overcome a challenge, will receive a print copy of the book.
3. Share Your Community Story

Our team places emphasis on telling meaningful stories about our members, which is exampled in our Esri Community Member Spotlight series. If you’d like to share how Esri Community is helping you in your work, how it’s connecting you to GIS peers, or is otherwise an element in a story that others might be interested in then we want to hear about it. Feel encouraged to swing by our booth to fill us in!
4. Share Your ArcGIS Ideas
The ArcGIS Ideas Exchange is a great place to share your innovative ideas directly with Esri’s product teams. Customers with a free Esri Community account can propose product updates or new features at any time or vote for Ideas submitted by others.
At the Esri Community booth, we’ll be collecting Ideas and helping attendees navigate the Ideas Exchange, so feel encouraged to bring your inspiration our way! And if you hear someone else saying, “it’d be great if …” or “I really wish …” or “what if …” about an Esri product, be an ambassador by helping them find our team to make sure their thoughts are heard.
NEW this year, you’ll find we’ve distributed QR code stickers that lead to the ArcGIS Ideas Exchange across Esri product booths. We want to make it easy for you to share your product improvement suggestions wherever inspiration strikes.
5. MVP Recognition

and you’ll find yourself beside a large wall dedicated to our amazing Esri Community MVPs. This group of super-users have an outsized impact in Esri Community by contributing in numerous ways, including having collectively supplied over 18,500 confirmed solutions (and counting) to others’ questions!

Attending Esri Community MVPs will be provided stickers for their name badges, calling out their important role. If you’ve ever been helped by an Esri Community MVP and cross paths with one of these fine folks at the conference, be sure to let them know how much you appreciate what they do!
6. Esri Young Professionals Network Fireside Chat

Esri Community will be participating in a fireside chat at the Esri Young Professionals Network (YPN) booth on Tuesday, July 14th from 11:30am – 12pm PT. This session will include discussion about how to use Esri Community to support your professional growth. Attendees will also learn how other GIS professionals have furthered their own careers by using Esri Community.
7. Map Lounge & Signage

You’ll see signs of Esri Community everywhere during your travels around the conference area, including in the highly popular Map Lounge. And when we say signs, we mean that literally. From screens to pop-up meter boards (NEW), Esri Community callouts and invitations to join will be appear throughout event buildings.
