how to filter all records with an Estimated Completion Date earlier than today

I am looking for a way to create a filter that will exclude all records with an Estimated Completion Date earlier than today

Do you have a field that stores the completed date? If so you could filter/query completed day is before___ and put in a specific date or have it set to ;todays date'
