ArcGIS Pro 3.7.0: The “Copy Raster” tool fails to generate a TIFF raster,

Question

Despite the fact that the format is set to TIFF in the settings of the “Copy Raster” tool, it fails to generate a TIFF raster.

However, when the “Export Raster” tool is used (outside the model), the TIFF raster is generated correctly.

What could be the issue here?

Hi there  JamalNUMAN !

The section that Dan provided from the Copy Raster documentation is spot on! Even though you have specified the format to be TIFF, because you are writing to a folder and not a file geodatabase, you will need to include '.tif' to the end of the output name. I tried this out with the data you provided and added the results below:

Now, if I completed the same workflow, but wrote to the project's file geodatabase, I did not need to include '.tif' to the output name:

specify the file extension

When storing a raster dataset in a geodatabase, do not add a file extension to the name of the raster dataset. When storing the raster dataset in a file format, specify the file extension as follows:
