With the planned retirement of ArcGIS GeoEvent Server following the ArcGIS Enterprise 12.3 lifecycle, users are being directed to adopt ArcGIS Velocity.
However, ArcGIS Velocity currently does not support UDP-based data ingestion, such as the “Receive JSON/Text from a UDP Socket” input connector available in GeoEvent Server. This represents a functional gap for workflows that rely on UDP data streams and creates additional complexity for organizations migrating existing implementations.
Please add a native UDP input connector to ArcGIS Velocity for ArcGIS Enterprise, enabling parity with GeoEvent Server capabilities.
