Please make related record primary/foreign key fields available as Editable, to not be read only.
I am constantly figuring out workaround for dealing with forms, related tables, the keys and them being read-only in forms. I get that keys are typically supposed to be global IDs, but I frequently have workflows where a key is like a name or document ID or permit number and that is really easy for users to connect records together across tables.
Like well index, I can add a well permit number to a field in an address database and then they are connected. Without having to do any arcade or queries to look up the global ID and store that in the record. And then it's really easy to change later.
What users have to do now is create the record where ever they are, open it up in the table in either Manager Instant App, ExB with the table, or in the table Overview Data table in AGOL.
As the world moves away from Microsoft Access tables, we really need more robust support for repeat tables and relationship classes in AGOL and Field Maps.
I'm not sure what this protection is in place for, but I should be able to decide to make it editable if I want to.
And I know this isn't just unique to Field Maps designer, but applies to the Form Designer in Map Viewer as well.
