Editing a Submitted Survey in Inbox – I Can’t Edit the Photos

Hello everyone,

I have a Survey123 form created with several related features. One of them is a repeat group used to send images.

I need this survey to be editable after submission through the Inbox. All records can be edited using the AllowUpdates=True configuration.

However, the photos still cannot be edited once they have been submitted (they can only be viewed).

The user is only able to add a new photo.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I found the same issues @tainamgcardoso. In the mobile app (I'm using iOS) I have enabled the Inbox so I can edit existing records but there is no option to even delete an attached photograph, all you can do is 'view' it:

In the web form, looking at the exact same survey, there are options to rename or delete the attached photograph, meaning you can replace the attached image with an updated one (which is what we want to be able to do):

Why aren't the same options available in mobile and desktop views of the same form?  I find this sort of inconsistency infuriating.

I guess editing is not currently supported.

I think the option of duplicate and then edit is your best option at the moment.

I tried what you suggested.

However, it still didn’t allow it. I can only view it.
