Allow removal of any commands in ribbon

I never use the Catalog View to look at my files. I always use the Catalog Pane as I find it easier to navigate while also having my map open. I want to be able to remove the Catalog View button from the View>Windows ribbon since I keep clicking it by accident and it takes a little while to load before I inevitably close it anyway.

The current settings do not allow you to remove default ribbon commands, only from custom ribbons. I think this should be a user decision.

You can remove the whole Windows group in the View Tab, then add a New Tab group ex. "My Windows" and add only the commands you want to it. I agree it would be nice if it were easy to remove from the existing ribbon, but it is possible to set things up the way you want it.
