Monitor agent crash

It happened to me a few times in different places, so I need to know if anybody have this problem.

The Monitor agent just crashed and must be restarted.

Checking the event viewer it just says that the process terminated.

If I check the event viewer a minute or two before the crash, I see a message that there is low virtual memory because a few ArcSOC processes took a lot of memory (over 10Gb).

This is ArcSOC for gp services that can take a lot of memory (for example with Visibility gp tool).

The last check of the monitor shows a lot of free memory.

Is it possible that is the ArcSOC memory is large the Monitor agent cannot handle it?

I've had monitor agents crashing recently when we had the certificate alias string missing from the Server XML and JSON config files (a known issue).  That can cause many instances of javaw to launch repeatedly and eat up the server memory.  Once memory is close to exhausted, apparently random processes/services get terminated, and the ArcGIS Monitor Agent can be one of them along with others. 
If you saw a system event log entry for low system memory, then my guess is that the monitor agent crashing is simply a victim of overall low memory condition and not anything specific to the agent function.
