I made geoprocessing tools via ArcPy and have them in a toolbox inside a Pro project. I want to upload the toolbox to ArcGIS Online so that I can share the tools easier. The only tutorials I've found follow this pipeline (https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-share-an-arcgis-pro-toolbox-000026749). I've tried it, but when I import the toolbox into a new Pro project, the toolbox is empty. I categorize the file upload as "Geoprocessing sample". Is there a different category or upload process I should do?
Thanks!
Uploading a .tbx to ArcGIS Online as a “Geoprocessing sample” does not preserve the tools, which is why the toolbox appears empty; instead, you should go to the Share tab in ArcGIS Pro, choose Package → Geoprocessing, select your toolbox or tools, create a .gpkx geoprocessing package, and upload that file to ArcGIS Online.
Thank you!
