The May 2026 update of ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma makes it easier for project teams to find and access trusted ArcGIS content faster in Autodesk Forma Site Design. With improved content category filtering, simpler ArcGIS Enterprise sign-in for accessing your organization's data, and expanded language support, this release makes it easier to access, find and use the right data with your team.
Find content faster with categories
Category filtering is now available in My content, My favorites, My organization, and Living Atlas.
When adding layers to a Forma project, categories and subcategories help teams navigate ArcGIS content more easily, narrow down the content list, and find relevant data more quickly. This is especially useful when working with your internal GIS teams, who can curate organizational datasets and structure categories so designers can access trusted content for their projects.

Easier sign-in for ArcGIS Enterprise
ArcGIS Enterprise users can now sign in to ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma more easily and access organizational GIS data directly in their design environment.
For ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 and later, users can enter their portal URL and sign in directly through the extension. For earlier Enterprise versions, users can enter their portal URL and client ID without creating a custom Autodesk Forma extension.
Expanded language support
ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma now supports 16 additional languages, helping project teams work in the language they are most comfortable using. Supported languages include Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish.
