I do quite a number of workshops in my role and i've adopted StoryMap Briefings for most of these. It would be great if briefings had an option to add slide numbers to the bottom corner. This would allow me to direct users to a specific slide number for information.

@BenjaminMittler - Thanks for sharing this idea. Adding a way to easily flip on slide numbers across the entire briefing is definitely something that has come up in our internal discussions. We can see how it would be useful and will look into this more.
It's a bit of work, but for now you could go into the slide options and update the display title for each slide (or maybe just section title slides?) to include numbers. Then, when people viewing your briefing open the TOC, they would see slide numbers for reference.
@BenjaminMittler - You mentioned the slide numbers are primarily so you can direct your workshop attendees to a specific slide. Are attendees following along with the briefing open in their browser?
If so, the current slide number is shown in the toolbar at the top of the screen when someone views a briefing. Can attendees use that to go to the slide number you direct them to?

Yes and no. Some users follow along on the StoryMap. However, often the workshops I'm teaching have participants following specific workflows. Our lab has single monitor PCs, so its often helpful to have a printout of the slides to look at while you are navigating through ArcGIS Pro, rather than switching tabs for every step. When you use the print storymap option you seem to lose the slide numbers.
@BenjaminMittler Great, thanks for your reply. This is exactly what we were wondering. Our thought is that if we simply always add slide numbers to the briefing print layout that should address this situation in a simple way without adding more visible elements on the slide in presentation view or another author control.
