Allow ArcGIS Field Maps to add BT+BLE location provider

Currently location providers with BT+BLE can be fully connected to Android, but cannot be connected to iOS devices (via Settings > Bluetooth).

It would be nice to have possibility to add location providers with BT+BLE directly in ArcGIS Filed Maps, like it possible to do with SW Maps on iOS.

Are you sure it is like this? I use Trimble and Leica devices in IOS and yes in both I use vendor own app to adjust extrenal device settings but is it really needed for that thing. Leica FLX100 usage in Field Maps is

Normal IOS bluetooth connect
Leica Zeno Connect to configure things - Trimble Mobile Manager in other vendor hardware
In Field Maps you say in settings - use external location provider

I have a feeling that in Leica case running Mobile Manager is not abosolute neccesarity but I have to test. I is needed to configure things but is it needed running while using Field Maps or not?

I have used same hardware in Android also and I see no difference in this process - is there really that kind of difference between these two mobile ecosystems?
