Imagery in ArcGIS Online provides a secure, fully managed SaaS environment for hosting, analyzing, and sharing imagery at scale. The February 2026 update builds on this foundation by reducing friction in hyperspectral workflows and accelerating raster analysis. Key enhancements include support for AVIRIS and EMIT hyperspectral data types, new raster analysis tools and functions, performance‑optimized Living Atlas layers, and improved 3D search and filtering on time-enabled oriented imagery.
