Arcade DomainName not working in labels

Question

I have my label set up to show the domain value as well as the domain description. However, more often than not, this does not work. There is no error returned, no notification. I just don't get the expected label.

This is my label expression:

And this is what I get – just the domain code, twice:

The label in this example should read "[99999] gelöscht/unbekannt"

Is anyone else experiencing these problems? I am currently on AGP 3.5.2, but I had the same problem with previous versions.

It also works when I join it with a table with domains

Hi @KenBuja , does it also work if the attribute is from a joined table?  Could you try this?

I just tried it on a layer without a join and it worked like a charm. So I can narrow it down to joined tables. Unfortunately that doesn't solve my problem, because I rely on joins a lot.
