Copy Connection Lines using Copy Lines To not working in 3.6.1, was in earlier version

Question

I have a client editing the parcel fabric in an Enterprise Environment.  One of their workflows is traversing connections lines and then using the "Copy Lines To" tool to paste those connection lines into their TaxParcel parcel type.

In their earlier Pro version 3.5.2, they were able to traverse connections lines, choose the "Copy Lines To" tool, choose TaxParcel and the connection lines would be copied into the TaxParcel_Lines parcel type feature class.

After upgrading to 3.6.1, when they perform the same workflow, the connection lines don't get copied over into the TaxParcel_Lines feature class.  I gave them a work around of just using the normal copy and paste special, but they were just curious as to why this earlier workflow wasn't working any more.  One note, they can select a polyline from a dwg file and copy those into the TaxParcel_Lines feature class using the "Copy Lines To" tool.

Also, I've tested their workflow in 3.5.5 using a fgdb and it works.

Any ideas or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Earlier versions of the traverse tool allowed you to enter connection lines and parcel boundary lines. This caused issues as sometimes you might have a 'closed' traverse between a defined point of commencement to a known point of beginning. So now you enter those connection lines as one traverse, distribute the misclose, and then press New to enter the parcel boundaries.
As for Copy Lines to Active Record tool, it did not seem like this was ever supported, but the good news are that from ArcGIS Pro 3.7 you will be able to use connection lines as input.

What is the use case of copying connection lines to the active record?
