Desktop vs. Mobile Network

Question

Generating a route with the same origin, destination, and network in a desktop Indoors viewer and the Mobile (Classic) app can give different results.

Is there any particular reason for this, and is there any way to ensure both give the same route?

Do generated routes within the new (v2) Indoors Mobile app tend to match desktop viewer routes?

Hi Gaurav,

The network dataset included in the mobile map are the same as the one used in the network service. Both apps use the same barrier service. I've since updated the network used in both, but the routes still differ.

@Shelby_Kline both web and mobile should provide the same route. Please check if the network dataset included in the mobile map is exactly the same as the one used in the network service (as there is a chance they could be different). Also, pls check if there aren't any barriers in the web and/or mobile app which could result in different routes. The images you attached do not load so pls re-upload them and post a comment for what you find.
