How to extract 2024 data from the annual NLCD data set

Hi! I'm trying to help a high school students on a project in Arc GIS Pro and they would like to extract the 2024 data from the annual National Land Cover Database that was released in Oct 2024. The dataset has data from the 1980s through 2024 and is too large as is for the analyses he wants to do.

I'm guessing this is fairly simple to do but we can't figure it out. Thanks!

You will need some temp storage space as I see the downloadable dataset is nearly 1.5Gb.

But, download the zip file, unzip it, load the unzipped tif file into Pro, then use the Clip Raster GP tool to clip out the area of interest.
For the output extent, you can click on the pencil and select Polygons, and it will create a new polygon layer that you can edit and sketch the area of interest and run the tool.
