Infinite loop of "Saving Layer" .. "<Table> is being updated with new fields."

Hi, I'm having an issue with the ArcGIS for Excel add-in, where once I add data from my Excel spreadsheet, the ArcGIS interface repeatedly shows this pop-up on a loop. I'm not able to "Cancel" it and it continues to pop-up until I close the add-in. I've tried to "Reload" the add-in as well as closing it all together, removing the add-in, and re-adding it to Excel, but none of these have worked. If anyone has a way to fix this, that would be great!

Thank you for posting your inquiry. My initial guess is this is data specific. Can you clear your browser cache and attempt your workflow using a different dataset? 

If a new dataset is successful (does not show this ~ ArcGIS interface repeatedly shows this pop-up on a loop), would you be able to share the dataset you are using with the issue?

You can send me a private message to troubleshoot further. I do understand there are some circumstances in which users/companies cannot share, so if that is the case, can you use Fiddler or Dev tools to capture what maybe going on behind the scenes and share this?
