AGOL automatically hallucinates and adds SIX decimal places to all entries in all attributes in all features loaded. It doesn't matter what the properties of the original layer were or if any decimal places existed in the original. It could be a zip code, a census tract ID, a monetary figure or any other number that would never include decimal places, but AGOL automatically hallucinates and adds them.
Others have posted about this problem in the AGOL community and the only solution is to either use Arcade code for every attribute in every layer, or to go in and edit the number of significant digits displayed for every attribute in every layer. This is an extremely onerous time expenditure.
Additionally, the option that is available does not say "adjust decimal places," it says "adjust significant digits," which is inaccurate and confusing.
Please update AGOL so that it stops hallucinating these numbers and creating work for us. Thank you!!!
