ArcGIS Dashboards- The ability to edit the hover text on chart widget & use Arcade

Hello Dashboards Team,

We recently received the request to modify the hover text in our ArcGIS Dashboard. Unfortunately at this time there is no additional functionality to do this, it's just a toggle on/off.

We propose there be a configuration option to modify this hover text (similar to map pop up configurations) and for it to support Arcade (dynamic calculations).

Please consider this enhancement as we believe it will improve the functionality within Dashboards.

There is a way to mimic the ability. The ability for arcade to do dynamic calculations exist as a data expression but otherwise, if you mean to enable custom popup expressions, then it does not.

There might be limitations regarding the overall JavaScript capability when compared to using a custom data expression.

You can still modify the values and the prefixes if you want something simple but otherwise the data expression might be your only option for the time being.

Thanks for this suggestion. Right now we're not looking to create any additional arcade expressions in this dashboard (while that's a good idea). We'd like this functionality out of the box from the dashboards team/see if this is possible.

I agree with everything you said. I would also like this functionality out of the box. It's an essential component of a serial chart for end-user comprehension.
