Parcel Value Analysis Solution - Equity Analysis web map will not save

I downloaded the Parcel Value Analysis solution which comes with an "Equity Analysis" web map. When I open it, I see that the Foreclosures and Appeals layers have an error message under them saying "An error occurred loading this layer." If I try to save the map (after making no changes), I get an error message saying the following:

Failed to save map. Relative url '{{GUID.layer0.url}}' is not supported

Do you know what's causing these errors and how to fix them? Thank you

My name is Nick Popovich and I work on the ArcGIS Solutions team here at Esri. The Parcel Value Analysis solution is one of my solutions.

I'm sorry to see you are having issues with the Equity Analysis web map. This appears to be an error within the Solution that we are attempting to understand and fix.

In the short term, for your deployment. Unfortunately, you cannot "re-point" the existing layers, but you can remove those layers and replace them. This should not have any effect on the Experience Builder application as these two layers are only used as optional reference layers within the map and are not used by any other widgets.

First thing you will want to do is remove those two broken layers from your web map and save the web map.

If you want to show foreclosures and appeals in your map, you could add your own layers or you could use the empty containers that should be in the deployment folder. If you look in the folder in your AGO content for the solution, do you see these two feature layers?

If you want to use those feature layers, you can append your data into those layers.

And then add these to the equity web map, then save.

As I mentioned, the appeals and foreclosure layers are optional. If you don't have this data, then you can simply remove the broken layers, save the webmap, and the experience builder should work as expected.

Hi @NickPopovich , yes that seemed to fix the issue. I was able to remove those layers, add in the TaxParcelForeclosures and TaxParcelsAppeals layers, and save the map. The Experience Builder app is also working as expected.

@CodyPatterson , thank you for your reply. This is not a public dataset, and no I wouldn't want to remove the layers and break all the connections and settings that are feeding into the Experience Builder app.

When I try to click on the layers - either from the ArcGIS Online Overview page or within the Web Map - there is no information about where they're being sourced from. However, in the original error message I was able to look into that GUID (6dbf9eecc2f7462ead967fafb09d3f58).

It takes me to a Tax Parcels Appeals feature service that has a different owner and is NOT the one associated with my deployment of the solution.

So my guess is that this is what's causing the error message. However, I don't see a way to re-point the existing layers in the map to the correct feature service. Do you know if there's a way to do this? Or would I need to remove the layers then add (and configure) the correct ones?

Hey @Heather_Campbell

It looks like the layers could be missing, broken, or possibly you may not have been granted access, if this is a public dataset or layers, could you link the URL to the originals? You won't be able to save while they are in this broken state, but if you remove them you can, but that seems kind of against the point!

I would check the layers themselves from the map, and see if you're able to view them independently, they may have also been shared to a different account.
