TIF DEM layer dissapears after I set it a custom surface elevation

Hello All,

My understanding of this process is you first add a new elevation surface with the DEM (.tiff elevation raster) and then you add the DEM layer to the 2D layers and then you can set it to this new custom surface and it should show the DEM draped over the elevation surface.

I can see the DEM in 2D while it is set to the elevation layer, but when i check the surface the DEM dissapears. Please see the attached images.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this? Or if i'm missing something?
