Creating a feature layer

Hello,

I would like to create a point feature layer for a Quickcapture app. I've done this many many times, but today I notices this process has been updated.  

In the past, I've 

1. Gone to content and selected new item -> feature layer
2.  Selected point and named the field.
3.  Navigate to the Overview page, select Data, and Fields.
4. Click on the newly created field to create categories in that field. 

Today, I was unable to find how to create categories.  I've attached an image. The image shows the location of where I'm stuck.

The interface was updated in June. Now you can click here to get started creating your categories
