Preserve Route Adjustments while solving Vehicle Routing Problem

Question

I need to make manual adjustments to my route upon completion of solving a vehicle routing problem. Is there a way to re-run the solve to generate new turn-by-turn directions while preserving the manual route adjustments I've made and not having to create a ton of barriers? When I resolve now, my route adjustments are not honored. My orders are all marked as "Preserve route and relative sequence".

An example of manual adjustments I need to make: The tool has the driver turning around in a parking lot. I need the driver to turn around at the end of the street. I can manually adjust the route, but when the solve is re-ran, I get the same route prompting the drive to turn around in the parking lot.

Are you using Pro to solve while the VRP layer is connected to ArcGIS Online? There is no good way to visualize the actual street network that we solve the route on. But you can get close by switching the base map on the Map tab to be the Navigation one and zoom to the Gullo Ave and note that it is not connected to the Stanley Street above it.

Thanks Jay.  I'm using Esri's street network. Is there a way to view their network?

It is not clear why it would not have gone from 93 to 95 and then to 94. Perhaps there is a sequence in place that you want to honor. However the reason it is looping around to 94 from 93 is because there is no direct path from 93 along Stanley. That is, Gullo Ave is not connected to the Stanley on the top of the map. So it has to turn around and loop.

What street network data are you using? You can examine the streets and verify that Stanley to Gullo to Stanley are not connected.
