Add filter widget to Instant App?

Hi Everyone,

I have an app with the interactive legend template. There are 3 fields in each of my feature layers that I want viewers to be able to filter by, but I can only style one of the fields. all 3 fields are descriptive data which I presume is why I can't create multiple styles overlapping for them. I want to instead allow people to filter for points using fields not symbolized, but detailed in the pop-up. Is this possible?

The fields I want to allow filtering with are "roots visible" and "washed up or rooted"

Instant apps are instant. They're designed to be quick to build but limited in their configuration.

The app you've chosen allows for filtering via the legend, which is also driven by symbology.

I'd recommend looking at another template, or more likely you'll need to use ArcGIS Experience Builder or ArcGIS Dashboards. These builders give you more options for filtering by actual filters, or interactions with infographics or lists. You could design it similarly to what you like about the instant app.
