Please improve the mouse responsiveness in Pro.
Currently using 3.5.1 but this is a launch day issue for me and I am tired of it.
Pro is the only application I use that consistently misses clicks or reacts slowly to clicks.
I find, over & above the increase in clicks needed to run some tasks compared to ArcMap or earlier Pro versions, that I often have to repeat a click - and then in some cases have to cancel a rename due to Pro finally catching up and registering the two clicks I made as indicative that I want to rename something.
This has now been an issue for a decade and using multiple computers, various Windows versions, wired & wireless mice, cheap mice, expensive mice, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, local data, server data, 1GBE, 10GBE networks, SHP files, SDE, FGDB. The only constant is Pro.
I am currently quite busy and my hand is getting sore from having to constantly redo clicks & moves due to Pro's lethargy. My workload is highly variable and very seldom involve setting up a GP task and walking away. It's more likely to have two monitors full of Pro panes and doing editing, symbolising, layouts, etc for a whole bunch of different projects over a day.
As mentioned - this is the only application that I have this issue with. It feels as if Pro so busy doing stuff it shouldn't be, that it is missing user interactions; or the polling code is done extremely badly and it is constantly playing catchup.
If you do not have this problem you are either not working fast enough 😎 or I would really love to hear what your exact system config is.
