ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma supports a native sign in experience for ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise (12.1 and later) users. If you are using ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0 or earlier, please follow the instructions below to access the extension.
ArcGIS Setup
Before using the ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma, you will need to complete the steps in the video below to generate a Client ID in your ArcGIS organization.
Note: When using an Enterprise identity provider (IdP), a Client ID does not need to be created.
Access the extension
After adding the ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma extension to your Forma Site Design, follow the steps in the video below to access the extension.
Note: You may be prompted with a Chrome browser notification saying "app.autodeskforma.com wants to access other devices on your local network". Select Allow.
- Select Sign in with ArcGIS Enterprise on the landing page.
- Enter you ArcGIS Enterprise organization's portal URL.
- Enter the Client ID generated from the ArcGIS setup in the second text box.
- Click Sign in.
