Snapping turning off while editing in Pro version 3.4.3

Question

I cannot move a point to the end of a recently split line segment because the snapping keeps turning off.  When I click on the Snapping dropdown, I can see the button toggle from off to on.  I try to move the point again, but still can't snap.  I check the Snapping dropdown again, and I can see the button toggle from off to on again!

Context: I had to define the projection for both the line feature class and point feature class.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?  I'm using Pro version 3.4.3, and I've already logged case numbers with Esri with other issues.  Before I log another issue with Esri, I wanted to know if others had seen this odd behavior.

I restarted my virtual machine and tried again.  I'm getting similar behavior, except the snapping does work but only if I hover over the location for a while and very close to the location.

I'm using ArcGIS Pro 3.5.1 and do not see this behavior myself.  Can you provide the steps taken to produce this issue and I'll test it on my side.  Thx!
