Hi all, I am looking for a way to create an automatic command for importing excel spreadsheets (which are updated over time) in Arcmap using Model Builder tool. Is it possible to do it? In that way I can run the model whenever new data are stored in tables excel. Many thanks, Daniela

yes I am using geoprocessing tool and through Model builder I would create

an automtic model for importing excel table which are updated every month.

Do you mean to cerate a model using the tool Copy rows in Model Builder? I

can try it and check the result.

I'm not sure what your options are in 9.3, but I don't believe Excel to Table existed then. Have you tried the Copy Rows tool?

I don't understand what you mean by you haven't tried the tool as you want to create an automatic model with model builder. I assume you will be using geoprocessing tools in your model?
