Traverse Workflow ArcMap v. ArcGIS Pro

Question

We're still working on the transition from ArcMap 10.6.1 to ArcGIS Pro, currently looking at 3.5, parcel fabric version 5, and Enterprise 11.2.

Our current workflow in ArcMap, once we finish the traverse, the lines are all selected, allowing us to then use the the rotate tool to "fit" the parcel into the current linework.  ArcGIS Pro, does not seem to work this way and it is a big concern my supervisor has regarding how we will replicate this workflow in Pro.  If it's a simple traverse, selecting the line (turning topology off by what I've read), would allow the rotation.  However, the selection process can be tedious for larger traverses.

If there is not a way to have those lines selected at the end of a traverse, can someone help me explain why and how the fitting of parcels works in Pro?  My understanding with traverses in Pro is that the lines are being inputted into the fabric as you go; where as ArcMap it was a sketch until it was committed.  I think, align parcels is what is used to fit parcels within the fabric and not rotating lines to fit.  Is that correct?

You can click on the box above the numbered lines to select all the lines in the traverse. I'm still using 3.3, hopefully that's still true for 3.5.

You can use the move, scale and rotate tool on your entered lines after you close the traverse. Since all the lines are associated to the Active Record, you can press the 'Show only Active' if you only want to see the new lines and/or use it to select all the features in the active record.

The parcel line feature class is just a simple feature class.

In order to align the new entered traverse you can start by using the move/rotate/scale tool if it is really far off.

If it's within a reasonable tolerance you can use the Align Parcels tool, and if you add 2 links manually it will use those to transform the new parcels to the existing one. Before you try to align your traverse create a parcel (create seeds, and build).

If you need more control over what moves to what, you can also use the Align Features tool.
