Display only the selected features on the map using ArcPro

Question

I am looking for a way to display only the selected features on a map I highlighted in my attribute table. Also, the non-selected features within the AT do not appear on the map. They temporarily disappear within the AT until you remove the script.

When you have the script, is it done in the " Select By Attributes "Expression?

I'm not very good with scripts, but can someone please point me in the right direction on how to do so?

I was vague, assuming @ZoranSmaic will understand its functionality once they tried it out. @JoshuaBixby  Yes saying it’s the parent is misleading, I should’ve just said it’s based off original data source. I will fix that.

Yes, I think it is the recommended best and easiest solution in my mind so kudos to Nick.  But I'd say the last part is unfortunately factually incorrect.

Caution:

The selection layer is only useful as a temporary working dataset, for example, as an input into a geoprocessing model. It lists the FeatureIDs (FIDs) or ObjectIDs (OIDs) of the selected features. These are invalidated when the original data source is updated or changed.
